The Lawrence County Bulldogs (Louisa, KY) softball nipped the visiting Fleming County Panthers (Flemingsburg, KY), 1-0 in Saturday's non-league bout.
The Bulldogs (21-1) will now prepare for their bout against Wayne (Wayne, WV). The Pioneers go into the non-league bout with a 4-14 record.
The Panthers now possess a 9-7 record. They play next when they travel to Wolfe County for a non-league bout on Saturday, April 27. Fleming County will confront a Wolves squad coming off a 3-1 league loss to Breathitt County (Jackson, KY). The Wolves record now stands at 9-9.
