Flora Wolves (Flora, IL) backers exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Frankfort Redbirds (West Frankfort, IL), 12-7 in a non-league challenge.

The Wolves now own a 11-8 record. They take the field next when they travel to Hamilton County for a Black Diamond East challenge on Tuesday, April 30. Flora will battle a Foxes squad coming off a 3-2 non-league win over Herrin (Herrin, IL). The Foxes record now stands at 13-6.

With the loss, Frankfort falls to 11-14 on the campaign. The Redbirds travel to Herrin (Herrin, IL) to battle the Tigers in a non-league challenge on Thursday, May 2. The Tigers enter the challenge with a record of 11-12.
