The Glenbard East Rams (Lombard, IL) softball the host Glenbrook South Titans (Glenview, IL), 7-3 in Saturday's non-league bout.
The Rams (12-6) will now prepare for their bout against Palatine (Palatine, IL). The Pirates enter the non-league challenge with a 11-9 record. In their last challenge, Palatine was routed by Hersey (Arlington Heights, IL), 2-1, in a league challenge.
With the loss, Glenbrook South falls to 10-10 on the campaign. The Titans host Glenbrook North (Northbrook, IL) to face the Spartans in a Central Suburban - South challenge on Tuesday, April 30. The Spartans enter the challenge with a record of 8-10.
