Great Crossing (Georgetown, KY) backers exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Johnson Central Golden Eagles (Paintsville, KY), 10-1 in a non-league challenge.
The now own a 15-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Franklin County for a District 41 challenge on Monday, April 29. Great Crossing will face a Flyers squad coming off a 13-5 non-league win over Pleasure Ridge Park (Louisville, KY). The Flyers record now stands at 10-8.
With the loss, Johnson Central falls to 12-11 on the campaign. The Golden eagles host Paintsville (Paintsville, KY) to face the Tigers in a District 57 challenge on Monday, April 29. The Tigers enter the challenge with a record of 6-10.
