Olentangy Berlin Bears (Delaware, OH) backers exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Johnstown-Monroe Johnnies (Johnstown, OH), 7-2 in a non-league challenge.

The Bears now own a 12-8 record. They take the field next when they host Westerville Central for a non-league challenge on Monday, April 29. Olentangy Berlin will face a Warhawks squad coming off a 10-0 league win over New Albany (New Albany, OH). The Warhawks record now stands at 5-6.

With the loss, Johnstown-Monroe falls to 5-15 on the campaign. The Johnnies travel to Olentangy Liberty (Powell, OH) to face the Patriots in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, April 30. The Patriots enter the challenge with a record of 9-5. Olentangy Liberty lost 3-0 in their recent league challenge against Olentangy Orange (Lewis Center, OH)
