Mountain View Mavericks (Meridian, ID) fans exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Kuna Kavemen (Kuna, ID), 7-3 in a league challenge.

The Mavericks now sport a 17-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Nampa for a 5A Southern Idaho challenge on Monday, April 29. Mountain View will face a Bulldogs squad coming off a 8-4 league loss to Eagle (Eagle, ID). The Bulldogs record now stands at 9-9.

With the loss, Kuna falls to 8-11 on the campaign.
