The Manteno Panthers softball team scored 2 runs and limited the host Plainfield North Tigers to 0 in the Panthers non-league triumph on Saturday.

With the triumph, Manteno improves its record to 23-0 on the year. The Panthers travel to Herscher (Herscher, IL) to clash with the Tigers in a Illinois Central Eight game on Monday, April 29. The Tigers come into the game with a record of 12-11.

In their next game, the Tigers clash with the Joliet Central Steelmen (Joliet, IL) in a Suburban Prairie - South game, on Wednesday, May 1. Plainfield North will attempt to improve on its 6-14 season record.
