In Saturday's non-league contest, the Tri-Valley Bulldogs (Hegins, PA) softball team overwhelmed the host North Schuylkill Spartans (Ashland, PA), by a margin of 10-1.

With the triumph, Tri-Valley moves its record to 12-3 on the year. The Bulldogs travel to Minersville (Minersville, PA) to play the Battlin' Miners in a Schuylkill II contest on Tuesday, April 30. The Battlin' Miners come into the contest with a record of 7-7. Minersville won 15-0 in their recent league contest against Nativity BVM (Pottsville, PA)

In their next game, the Spartans play the Jim Thorpe Olympians (Jim Thorpe, PA) in a Schuylkill I contest, on Tuesday, April 30. North Schuylkill will attempt to move on its 6-4 season record. The Olympians come into the contest with a 4-12 record after their 15-4 non-league win over Panther Valley (Lansford, PA).
