The Springfield Wildcats softball team scored 10 runs and limited the host Urbana Hillclimbers to 6 in the Wildcats non-league triumph on Saturday.

With the triumph, Springfield improves its record to 8-12 on the year. The Wildcats travel to Miamisburg (Miamisburg, OH) to clash with the Vikings in a Greater Western Ohio game on Monday, April 29. The Vikings come into the game with a record of 9-6. Miamisburg won 12-2 in their recent non-league game against Valley View (Germantown, OH)

In their next game, the Hillclimbers clash with the Kenton Ridge Cougars (Springfield, OH) in a non-league game, on Monday, April 29. Urbana will attempt to improve on its 2-12 season record.
