New Jersey High School Softball - Teaneck bounces Hackensack

April 27, 2026: Hackensack, NJ 07601

The crowd at Monday's non-league bout between the Teaneck Highwaymen (Teaneck, NJ) and the host Hackensack Comets (Hackensack, NJ), observed Teaneck's softball team get by Hackensack by a tally of 10-4.

The Highwaymen (8-10) will now prepare for their bout against Pascack Hills (Montvale, NJ). The Cowboys go into the non-league bout with a 8-6 record. In their last bout, Pascack Hills tipped Mahwah (Mahwah, NJ), 5-3, in a league bout.

In their next game, the Comets clash with the Ridgewood The Maroons (Ridgewood, NJ) in a Big North - Freedom bout, on Wednesday, April 29. Hackensack will attempt to advance on its 7-11 season record. The The Maroons go into the bout with a 7-7 record after their 5-4 non-league win over Fair Lawn (Fair Lawn, NJ).
