The Bristol Eastern Lancers routed the visiting Middletown Blue Dragons softball squad by a count of 14-0 in Wednesday's league battle.

The Lancers (3-2) will now prepare for their battle against Maloney (Meriden, CT). The Spartans go into the Central Connecticut - South battle with a 7-2 record. In their last battle, Maloney topped Lewis Mills (Burlington, CT), 13-1, in a non-league battle.

The Blue Dragons now sport a 1-4 record. They play next when they host Plainville for a Central Connecticut - South battle on Friday, April 30. Middletown will meet a Blue Devils squad coming off a 11-2 league loss to Platt (Meriden, CT). The Blue Devils record now stands at 0-3.
