In Thursday's non-league game, the visiting Lyman Memorial Bulldogs baseball team scored a tight 7-4 victory over the Griswold Wolverines.
The Bulldogs (9-2) will now prepare for their game against Plainfield (Central Village, CT). The Panthers go into the Eastern Connecticut - Division III game with a 6-3 record. In their last game, Plainfield by St. Bernard (Uncasville, CT), 6-1, in a non-league game.
The Wolverines (4-8) will now prepare for their game against Norwich RVT (Norwich, CT). The Warriors go into the non-league game with a 8-4 record. In their last game, Norwich RVT tipped Prince RVT (Hartford, CT), 13-0, in a league game.
