The Tohopekaliga Tigers baseball team scored 15 runs and limited the visiting Jones Fightin' Tigers to 0 in the Tigers non-league victory on Thursday.
The Tigers (10-8) will now prepare for their match against Cypress Creek (Orlando, FL). The Bears go into the non-league match with a 7-14 record. In their last match, Cypress Creek was overwhelmed by Osceola (Kissimmee, FL), 17-7, in a league match.
The Fightin' Tigers (0-13) will now prepare for their match against Lake Wales (Lake Wales, FL). The Highlanders go into the non-league match with a 12-13 record. In their last match, Lake Wales gained a win over Avon Park (Avon Park, FL), 3-2, in a non-league match.
