The Waukegan Bulldogs held off the visiting Elgin Maroons volleyball team by a score of 2-1 in Thursday's non-league test.
The Bulldogs now have a 8-14 record. They put it on the line next when they host Grant Community for a non-league test on Friday, April 29. Waukegan will confront a Bulldogs team coming off a 2-0 league win over North Chicago (North Chicago, IL). The Bulldogs record now stands at 11-15.
The Maroons (5-19) will now prepare for their test against Romeoville (Romeoville, IL). The Spartans enter the non-league test with a 6-12 record. In their last test, Romeoville held off Joliet Central (Joliet, IL), 2-0, in a league test.
