In Thursday's non-league game, the host Chaparral Wolverines baseball team scored a nice 15-5 victory over the ThunderRidge Grizzlies.
The Wolverines (9-2) will now prepare for their game against Douglas County (Castle Rock, CO). The Huskies go into the non-league game with a 3-8 record. In their last game, Douglas County overcame Castle View (Castle Rock, CO), 10-0, in a non-league game.
The Grizzlies (1-9) will now prepare for their game against Cherokee Trail (Aurora, CO). The Cougars go into the non-league game with a 6-8 record. In their last game, Cherokee Trail overcame Arapahoe (Centennial, CO), 11-3, in a league game.
