The Meridian Mustangs (Falls Church, VA) lacrosse triumphed over the visiting Bishop O'Connell Knights (Arlington, VA), 20-8 in Thursday's non-league outing.
With the win, Meridian upgrades its record to 9-1 on the season. The Mustangs travel to Culpeper County (Culpeper, VA) to face the Blue Devils in a Battlefield test on Wednesday, May 4. The Blue Devils come into the test with a record of 8-1.
In their next game, the Knights face the Maret Frogs (Washington, DC) in a Independent Schools AA test, on Friday, April 29. Bishop O'Connell will attempt to move on its 1-5 season record. The Frogs come into the test with a 5-5 record after their 11-3 league win over Georgetown Day (Washington, DC).
