Joel Barlow Falcons (Redding, CT) followers exited the stadium in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad edge the host Pomperaug Panthers (Southbury, CT), 7-6 in a league test.

The Falcons now have a 6-4 record. They take the field next when they host Newtown for a South West test on Monday, May 2. Joel Barlow will face a Nighthawks squad coming off a 10-9 league loss to New Fairfield (New Fairfield, CT). The Nighthawks record now stands at 8-1.

In their next game, the Panthers face the Amity Regional Spartans (Woodbridge, CT) in a non-league test, on Saturday, April 30. Pomperaug will attempt to move on its 1-6 season record. The Spartans come into the test with a 4-3 record after their 11-10 league win over Cheshire (Cheshire, CT).
