In Thursday's league battle, the host Charlottesville Black Knights soccer squad scored a close 2-1 triumph over the Orange County Fighting Hornets.
The Black Knights (7-2) will now prepare for their battle against Western Albemarle (Crozet, VA). The Warriors come into the Jefferson battle with a 5-1 record.
The Fighting Hornets (6-3) will now prepare for their battle against Albemarle (Charlottesville, VA). The Patriots come into the Jefferson battle with a 8-0 record. In their last battle, Albemarle nudged Monticello (Charlottesville, VA), 5-0, in a league battle.
