Stoney Creek Cougars (Rochester Hills, MI) followers exited the stadium in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad top the visiting Athens Red Hawks (Troy, MI), 19-6 in a league battle.
The Cougars now have a 8-0 record. They take the field next when they host Lake Linden-Hubbell for a non-league battle on Tuesday, May 3.
In their next game, the Red Hawks clash with the Royal Oak Ravens (Royal Oak, MI) in a Division 2 District 8 battle, on Tuesday, May 3. Athens will attempt to move on its 1-5 season record.
