The Maloney Spartans lacrosse squad (Meriden, CT), was overwhelmed 12-4 in Thursday's league contest with the visiting Edwin O. Smith Panthers (Storrs, CT)

Coming up next, the Panthers confront the Suffield Wildcats (West Suffield, CT) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, April 30. Edwin O. Smith will attempt to improve on its 5-1 season record.

The Spartans (0-2) will now prepare for their game against Bristol Eastern (Bristol, CT). The Lancers enter the non-league game with a 4-4 record. In their last game, Bristol Eastern beat Wolcott (Wolcott, CT), 16-4, in a non-league game.
