Illinois High School Lacrosse - Marist can't get by Niles Notre Dame

In Thursday's league test, the visiting Niles Notre Dame Dons lacrosse squad scored a tight 7-6 victory over the Marist RedHawks.
The Dons now have a 6-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Benet Academy for a non-league test on Monday, May 2. Niles Notre Dame will face a Redwings squad coming off a 14-9 non-league win over Neuqua Valley (Naperville, IL). The Redwings record now stands at 10-5.
In their next game, the RedHawks face the Chicago Mt. Carmel Caravan (Chicago, IL) in a non-league test, on Saturday, April 30. Marist will attempt to better on its 9-5 season record. The Caravan go into the match with a 7-2 record after their 18-5 league loss to Loyola Academy (Wilmette, IL).
