Medina Mustangs (Medina, NY) boosters exited the stadium content Thursday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad nip the visiting Wilson Lakemen (Wilson, NY), 9-8 in a league battle.
The Mustangs now own a 2-5 record. They take the field next when they host Starpoint for a non-league battle on Monday, May 2. Medina will clash with a Spartans squad coming off a 17-6 non-league loss to Lockport (Lockport, NY). The Spartans record now stands at 2-7.
In their next game, the Lakemen clash with the Newfane Panthers (Newfane, NY) in a Class D battle, on Friday, April 29. Wilson will attempt to advance on its 5-4 season record. The Panthers come into the battle with a 0-3 record after their 21-5 league loss to Akron (Akron, NY).
