McLean Highlanders (McLean, VA) supporters were pleased Thursday as they observed their soccer team knock off the visiting George C. Marshall Statesmen (Falls Church, VA), 7-4 in a league challenge.

Next, the Highlanders confront the Wakefield Fighting Owls (The Plains, VA) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, May 4. McLean will attempt to move on its 3-3 season record. The Fighting Owls enter the challenge with a 13-4 record after their 0-0 non-league Lake Braddock (Burke, VA).

The Statesmen now possess a 2-8 record. They take the field next when they host Washington-Liberty for a Liberty challenge on Friday, May 6.
