The Louisburg Wildcats (Louisburg, KS) softball routed the host Anderson County Bulldogs (Garnett, KS), 12-7 in Thursday's non-league bout.
The Wildcats (3-7) will now prepare for their bout against Ottawa (Ottawa, KS). The Cyclones go into the non-league bout with a 9-4 record. In their last bout, Ottawa held off Eudora (Eudora, KS), 3-2, in a league bout.
The Bulldogs now possess a 4-5 record. They play next when they travel to Santa Fe Trail for a Pioneer bout on Tuesday, May 3. Anderson County will confront a Chargers squad coming off a 15-7 non-league win over Baldwin (Baldwin, KS). The Chargers record now stands at 10-4.
