In Thursday's non-league outing, the visiting Bremen Lions softball team scored a nice 26-7 win over the Triton Trojans.
Coming up next, the Lions battle the Rochester Zebras (Rochester, IN) in a non-league outing, on Friday, April 29. Bremen will attempt to upgrade on its 6-4 season record. The Zebras enter the outing with a 4-4 record after their 12-11 league loss to Southwood (Wabash, IN).
The Trojans (2-9) will now prepare for their outing against Manchester (North Manchester, IN). The Squires enter the non-league outing with a 1-9 record. In their last outing, Manchester was routed by Western (Russiaville, IN), 18-5, in a non-league outing.

The Bremen Girls softball team had 21 hits en route to a 27-6 win on a chilly Thursday night in Bourbon.
After leading 14-1 in the 5th, Triton bats got hot getting 5 runs on four hits. That forced the Lions to bat in the 6th, where they answered with 13 runs in the bottom of the frame.
Mickie Shively had 4 hits including a grand slam collecting 5RBI, Jaylin Swint had 3 hits including 2 home runs & added 6 RBI, Chrissy Grabowski, Lainey Neher, and Avery Wildaeur each had 3 hits, while Katie Moyer added a pair of hits for the winners.
