The Emery Spartans softball team scored 1 runs and limited the visiting North Sanpete Hawks to 0 in the Spartans non-league triumph on Thursday.

With the triumph, Emery moves its record to 15-6 on the year. The Spartans travel to Grand County (Moab, UT) to clash with the Red Devils in a 3A Region 12 game on Friday, April 29. The Red Devils come into the game with a record of 8-12. Grand County won 15-1 in their recent non-league game against South Sevier (Monroe, UT)

In their next game, the Hawks clash with the Juab Wasps (Nephi, UT) in a 3A Region 14 game, on Monday, May 2. North Sanpete will attempt to move on its 9-15 season record. The Wasps come into the game with a 9-15 record after their 15-0 league win over Delta (Delta, UT).
