The Red River Roughriders softball team scored 12 runs and limited the host Fargo Davies Eagles to 8 in the Roughriders league triumph on Thursday.
With the triumph, Red River moves its record to 1-0 on the year. The Roughriders travel to Minot (Minot, ND) to clash with the Magicians in a non-league game on Friday, May 6. The Magicians come into the game with a record of 0-0.
In their next game, the Eagles clash with the Grand Forks Central Knights (Grand Forks, ND) in a Class A - East Region game, on Tuesday, May 3. Fargo Davies will attempt to move on its 0-1 season record.
