The Hays Indians softball team scored 13 runs and limited the host Thomas More Prep-Marian Monarchs to 12 in the Indians non-league triumph on Thursday.

With the triumph, Hays moves its record to 7-7 on the year. The Indians travel to Colby (Colby, KS) to clash with the Eagles in a non-league game on Friday, April 29. The Eagles come into the game with a record of 2-5. Colby lost 6-5 in their recent non-league game against Cimarron (Cimarron, KS)

In their next game, the Monarchs clash with the Plainville Cardinals (Plainville, KS) in a non-league game, on Tuesday, May 3. Thomas More Prep-Marian will attempt to move on its 5-5 season record. The Cardinals come into the game with a 0-9 record after their 18-6 non-league loss to Ellis (Ellis, KS).
