The crowd at Thursday's non-league match between the LeRoy Panthers (LeRoy, IL) and the visiting St. Teresa Bulldogs (Decatur, IL), saw LeRoy's softball squad achieve victory over St. Teresa by a count of 16-6.

The Panthers now sport a 18-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Eureka for a Heart of Illinois match on Friday, April 29. LeRoy will face a Hornets squad coming off a 10-0 league loss to Tremont (Tremont, IL). The Hornets record now stands at 4-7.

With the loss, St. Teresa falls to 5-13 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to Tuscola (Tuscola, IL) to face the Warriors in a Central Illinois match on Friday, April 29. The Warriors enter the match with a record of 15-4. Tuscola lost 8-3 in their recent league match against Warrensburg-Latham (Warrensburg, IL)
