Oswego East Wolves (Oswego, IL) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Plainfield Central Wildcats (Plainfield, IL), 8-0 in a league challenge.

The Wolves now own a 10-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Naperville North for a non-league challenge on Friday, April 29. Oswego East will battle a Huskies squad coming off a 15-5 league win over DeKalb (DeKalb, IL). The Huskies record now stands at 14-1.

With the loss, Plainfield Central falls to 5-10 on the campaign. The Wildcats travel to Plainfield South (Plainfield, IL) to battle the Cougars in a Suburban Prairie - South challenge on Saturday, April 30. The Cougars enter the challenge with a record of 6-10. Plainfield South lost 7-0 in their recent league challenge against Minooka (Minooka, IL)
