Pavilion Golden Gophers (Pavilion, NY) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Warsaw Tigers (Warsaw, NY), 14-8 in a non-league challenge.

The Golden Gophers now own a 3-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Caledonia-Mumford for a Livingston County Div III challenge on Saturday, April 30. Pavilion will face a Raiders squad coming off a 12-7 non-league win over Letchworth (Gainesville, NY). The Raiders record now stands at 8-1.

With the loss, Warsaw falls to 0-4 on the campaign. The Tigers host Le Roy (Le Roy, NY) to face the Oatkan Knights in a Livingston County Division 2 challenge on Saturday, April 30. The Oatkan Knights enter the challenge with a record of 0-3.
