Steinmetz College Prep Silver Streaks (Chicago, IL) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Rickover Naval Seadragons (Chicago, IL), 15-11 in a league challenge.

The Silver Streaks now own a 4-3 record.

With the loss, Rickover Naval falls to 8-5 on the campaign. The Seadragons host Roosevelt (Chicago, IL) to battle the Rough Riders in a Chicago Public Blue challenge on Friday, April 29. The Rough Riders enter the challenge with a record of 2-5.
