New York High School Baseball - St. Anthony's nips Archbishop Molloy

St. Anthony's Friars (Melville, NY) fans exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they observed their baseball squad hold off the visiting Archbishop Molloy Stanners (Queens, NY), 3-2 in a league test.

With the win, St. Anthony's upgrades its record to 9-4 on the season. The Friars host St. John the Baptist (West Islip, NY) to battle the Cougars in a Catholic Nassau Suffolk test on Tuesday, May 2. The Cougars come into the test with a record of 2-1.

With the defeat, Archbishop Molloy falls to 5-7 on the season. The Stanners host Holy Cross (Flushing, NY) to battle the Knights in a Catholic AA - Brooklyn/Queens test on Monday, May 1. The Knights come into the test with a record of 2-6. Holy Cross lost 22-4 in their recent league test against Xaverian (Brooklyn, NY)
