Spectators at Friday's non-league battle between the Brookfield Bobcats (Brookfield, CT) and the visiting Pomperaug Panthers (Southbury, CT), witnessed Brookfield's baseball team achieve victory over Pomperaug by a tally of 7-1.

The Bobcats (8-3) will now prepare for their match against Newtown (Newtown, CT). The Nighthawks go into the non-league match with a 7-6 record.

The Panthers (4-9) will now prepare for their match against Stratford (Stratford, CT). The Red Devils go into the Southwest - Colonial match with a 2-10 record. In their last match, Stratford was overwhelmed by Weston (Weston, CT), 5-2, in a non-league match.
