The Quince Orchard Cougars baseball team scored 5 runs and limited the visiting Churchill Bulldogs to 4 in the Cougars non-league victory on Friday.
The Cougars (7-8) will now prepare for their match against Damascus (Damascus, MD). The Hornets go into the non-league match with a 11-4 record. In their last match, Damascus was edged by Whitman (Bethesda, MD), 7-6, in a non-league match.
The Bulldogs (8-6) will now prepare for their match against Seneca Valley (Germantown, MD). The Screamin' Eagles go into the Montgomery County 4A - West match with a 3-9 record. In their last match, Seneca Valley edged Springbrook (Silver Spring, MD), 14-2, in a non-league match.
