Illinois High School Baseball - Cissna Park loses to Oakwood

The Oakwood Comets crushed the host Cissna Park Timberwolves baseball team by a count of 13-1 in Friday's league bout.

The Comets now possess a 17-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Reed-Custer for a non-league bout on Saturday, April 29. Oakwood will face a Comets team coming off a 14-1 non-league win over Momence (Momence, IL). The Comets record now stands at 15-4.

Next, the Timberwolves face the Watseka Warriors (Watseka, IL) in a Vermilion Valley bout, on Monday, May 1. Cissna Park will attempt to move on its 4-14 season record. The Warriors enter the bout with a 2-15 record after their 6-2 league loss to Georgetown-Ridge Farm/Chrisman (Georgetown, IL).
