In Friday's non-league game, the visiting St. Bernard Saints baseball team scored a tight 5-1 victory over the Griswold Wolverines.
The Saints (10-1) will now prepare for their game against Montville (Oakdale, CT). The None go into the non-league game with a 4-7 record.
The Wolverines (5-7) will now prepare for their game against Windham (Willimantic, CT). The Whippets go into the Eastern Connecticut - Division II game with a 5-7 record. In their last game, Windham tipped Putnam (Putnam, CT), 7-4, in a non-league game.
