Illinois High School Baseball - Metamora loses to Lincoln

The Lincoln Railsplitters baseball team scored 12 runs and limited the host Metamora Redbirds to 5 in the Railsplitters non-league victory on Friday.
The Railsplitters (11-8) will now prepare for their match against Mt. Zion (Mt. Zion, IL). The Braves go into the Apollo match with a 10-8 record. In their last match, Mt. Zion was overwhelmed by Pleasant Plains (Pleasant Plains, IL), 7-6, in a non-league match.
The Redbirds (6-12) will now prepare for their match against Limestone (Bartonville, IL). The Rockets go into the Mid-Illini match with a 5-17 record. In their last match, Limestone edged LaSalle-Peru (LaSalle, IL), 4-3, in a non-league match.
