Missouri High School Baseball - Mark Twain loses to Monroe City

The Monroe City Panthers baseball team scored 12 runs and limited the host Mark Twain Tigers to 7 in the Panthers league victory on Friday.
The Panthers (2-10) will now prepare for their challenge against Clark County (Kahoka, MO). The Indians come into the Class 3 District 7 challenge with a 15-6 record. In their last challenge, Clark County nipped Mendon Unity (Mendon, IL), 5-2, in a non-league challenge.
With the defeat, Mark Twain falls to 1-13 on the season. The Tigers host South Shelby (Shelbina, MO) to battle the Cardinals in a non-league challenge on Monday, May 1. The Cardinals come into the challenge with a record of 11-2. South Shelby won 6-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Westran (Huntsville, MO)
