The Sparta Spartans baseball team scored 9 runs and limited the visiting Phillipsburg Stateliners to 2 in the Spartans non-league victory on Friday.
The Spartans (5-0) will now prepare for their match against High Point (Sussex, NJ). The Wildcats go into the non-league match with a 4-2 record. In their last match, High Point tipped Jefferson Township (Oak Ridge, NJ), 5-2, in a non-league match.
