Chesterton Trojans (Chesterton, IN) fans exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the host Lowell Red Devils (Lowell, IN), 13-2 in a non-league test.

With the win, Chesterton upgrades its record to 1-0 on the season. The Trojans travel to Portage (Portage, IN) to battle the Indians in a test on Tuesday, May 16. The Indians come into the test with a record of 5-5.

With the defeat, Lowell falls to 2-4 on the season. The Red devils travel to Kankakee Valley (Wheatfield, IN) to battle the Kougars in a test on Saturday, April 29. The Kougars come into the test with a record of 2-5. Kankakee Valley lost 16-1 in their recent non-league test against Hanover Central (Cedar Lake, IN)
