Cumberland Clippers (Cumberland, RI) followers exited the stadium in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad edge the host Mt. Hope Huskies (Bristol, RI), 10-9 in a non-league battle.

The Clippers now have a 3-5 record. They take the field next when they host Cranston West for a non-league battle on Tuesday, May 2. Cumberland will clash with a Falcons squad coming off a 11-10 league loss to Chariho (Wood River Junction, RI). The Falcons record now stands at 4-4.

In their next game, the Huskies clash with the Toll Gate Titans (Warwick, RI) in a Division 2 battle, on Wednesday, May 3. Mt. Hope will attempt to move on its 2-4 season record. The Titans come into the battle with a 0-6 record after their 19-7 non-league loss to North Kingstown (North Kingstown, RI).
