Central Academy Cougars (Monroe, NC) fans were pleased Friday as they observed their soccer team knock off the host Palisades Pumas (Charlotte, NC), 2-0 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Cougars confront the Monroe Redhawks (Monroe, NC) in a Rocky River 2A/3A challenge, on Tuesday, May 2. Central Academy will attempt to better on its 8-8 season record.
The Pumas now have a 4-13 record. They take the field next when they host South Mecklenburg for a So Meck 4A challenge on Tuesday, May 2. Palisades will confront a Sabres team coming off a 9-0 league win over Harding University (Charlotte, NC). The Sabres record now stands at 12-3.
