In Friday's non-league battle, the visiting St. Mary's Academy Wildcats soccer squad scored a close 7-0 triumph over the Thomas MacLaren School Highlanders.
The Wildcats (4-7) will now prepare for their battle against Colorado Academy (Denver, CO). The Mustangs come into the 3A/2A Metro battle with a 7-3 record.
The Highlanders (5-4) will now prepare for their battle against Buena Vista (Buena Vista, CO). The Demons come into the non-league battle with a 6-3 record. In their last battle, Buena Vista nudged Florence (Florence, CO), 10-0, in a league battle.
