Ohio High School Softball - Bexley topped by Watkins Memorial

The Watkins Memorial Warriors softball team scored 14 runs and limited the host Bexley Lions to 0 in the Warriors non-league triumph on Friday.
With the triumph, Watkins Memorial moves its record to 18-11 on the year. The Warriors travel to Granville (Granville, OH) to encounter the Blue Aces in a test on Monday, May 1. The Blue Aces come into the test with a record of 2-1. Granville won 16-12 in their recent league test against Watkins Memorial (Pataskala, OH)
The Lions (4-9) will now prepare for their test against Buckeye Valley (Delaware, OH). The Barons come into the test with a 1-0 record. In their last test, Buckeye Valley overcame Bexley (Columbus, OH), 20-2, in a league test.
