The Gilmour Academy Lancers lacrosse team scored 10 points and limited the host Mentor Cardinals to 4 in the Lancers non-league triumph on Friday.
The Lancers (8-1) will now prepare for their game against Chardon (Chardon, OH). The Hilltoppers enter the non-league game with a 6-6 record. In their last game, Chardon was overwhelmed by Riverside (Painesville, OH), 13-5, in a non-league game.
The Cardinals (2-13) will now prepare for their game against Medina (Medina, OH). The Battling Bees enter the non-league game with a 8-4 record. In their last game, Medina was overwhelmed by Dublin Coffman (Dublin, OH), 9-6, in a non-league game.
