West Virginia High School Lacrosse - Preston drops to Hedgesville

Hedgesville Eagles (Hedgesville, WV) followers exited the stadium content Friday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad top the host Preston Knights (Kingwood, WV), 16-1 in a league battle.

The Eagles now have a 5-6 record. They take the field next when they host Mercersburg Academy for a non-league battle on Wednesday, May 3. Hedgesville will clash with a Blue Storm squad coming off a 11-5 non-league loss to Handley (Winchester, VA). The Blue Storm record now stands at 1-8.

In their next game, the Knights clash with the Martinsburg Bulldogs (Martinsburg, WV) in a WVSLA -DII East battle, on Saturday, April 29. Preston will attempt to move on its 0-10 season record. The Bulldogs come into the battle with a 8-2 record after their 16-6 non-league win over Mercersburg Academy (Mercersburg, PA).
