Marysville Monarchs (Marysville, OH) followers exited the stadium in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad achieve victory over the visiting Westerville Central Warhawks (Westerville, OH), 10-6 in a non-league battle.

The Monarchs now have a 5-8 record. They take the field next when they travel to Dublin Jerome for a Region 1 battle on Tuesday, May 2. Marysville will clash with a Celtics squad coming off a 23-12 non-league win over Hudson (Hudson, OH). The Celtics record now stands at 11-0.

In their next game, the Warhawks clash with the Pickerington Central Tigers (Pickerington, OH) in a Region 3 battle, on Tuesday, May 2. Westerville Central will attempt to move on its 1-12 season record. The Tigers come into the battle with a 10-3 record after their 16-5 league win over Lincoln (Gahanna, OH).
