New Caney Eagles (New Caney, TX) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Benjamin Davis Falcons (Houston, TX), 12-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Eagles now own a 23-12 record. They take the field next when they host Langham Creek for a non-league challenge on Friday, May 5. New Caney will battle a Lobos squad coming off a 8-0 non-league win over Klein Oak (Spring, TX). The Lobos record now stands at 27-7.

With the loss, Benjamin Davis falls to 9-10 on the campaign.
