In Friday's non-league contest, the Glacier Peak Grizzlies (Snohomish, WA) softball team held off the host Bishop Blanchet Bears (Seattle, WA), by a margin of 4-3.
With the triumph, Glacier Peak moves its record to 9-2 on the year. The Grizzlies travel to Jackson (Mill Creek, WA) to play the Timberwolves in a 4A Wesco contest on Tuesday, May 2. The Timberwolves come into the contest with a record of 16-1. Jackson won 1-0 in their recent non-league contest against Bonney Lake (Bonney Lake, WA)
In their next game, the Bears play the Chief Sealth Seahawks (Seattle, WA) in a 3A Metro contest, on Tuesday, May 2. Bishop Blanchet will attempt to move on its 12-3 season record. The Seahawks come into the contest with a 4-5 record after their 17-3 league win over Franklin (Seattle, WA).
